Year 1970 was believed to be the birth date of the driving schools. During that time, there are only few driving schools that are offering cheap driving lessons since the number of people that were driving their cars was not that many. Car manufacturing are still booming that's why driving school was very in demand. The competition between each schools are very high that's why they implement some sales gimmicks in order to attract customers. Cheap driving lessons are one them, giving special discounts or any other incentives. That's the marketing plan of one of the owner of the oldest driving school today, the Mach One. Mr. Tedd Mach owns the school and he is consider as the father of the driving schools. Tedd's marketing plan during that time was very effective and so many customers were signing up on them. They also offer some insurance to the cars and other vehicles for the customers, which is also good because you will feel secured.

They offered a variety of cheap driving lessons including the driving lesson for motorbike, which most of the driving school lacks. Tedd was very brilliant about this idea, adding more vehicles other than the usual classic car. The services they provide was also exceptional and almost all of their students and customers were very satisfied. Starting from the basic lessons then slowly advancing to intermediate level. One of their customer even give Tedd a brand new car, maybe as a symbol of appreciation because he was very pleased and satisfied with their services.

Tedd didn't stop there and expansion of his business was initiated. He first started in the neighbor city where driving lessons are not that cheap so his school offered cheap driving lessons so that he can compete with the present schools there. His strategy didn't fail and customers were starting to enroll in his school. Tedd still maintains the quality of of their services even though they offered cheaper lessons compare to the other schools. Others want to imitate the strategies of Mr. Mach but none of them succeeded. I guess only Tedd can do what he loves to do and none of them can imitate or even come close to his ideas.

As the years added, the Mach One continued the expansion and still going strong. Tedd already passed his throne to his son Warren because he was too old already and he believed that his business will stay long as long as the Mach generation continues.
