Transport Time

It would be the great dream of a teenager to receive a car as a gift. But even better when you can drive it on your own.

Last summer, I am trying to do a driving test in preparation for my schooling. I wanted to drive to school each day. My dad canvassed for the cheapest skip hire. I wish that I will pass my driving test. I am expecting that that driving test isn't easy so I really have to work so hard for that.

Day and night, I am thinking about driving my own car someday. So I really wanted to pass my test. Actually, before, my mom suggested me to drive a motorbike instead. They were joking me that a motorbike would be more suited for me. Being a girl, I know, it's not a good idea. It is harder to drive a motorbike than a car. Besides, I never dreamt of driving vehicles like a motorbike.

My family could not decide very well if they will allow me to drive. They think that I can not manage that and I just have to focus on my studies. But I had convinced them.. Immediately after my exam in school, they gave me my own car. Then, they already enrolled it in insurance groups. I wondered what this insurance groups is all about so I asked my parents about it. They said that it will be safer if the car is insured in insurance groups because in this way, I can be protected, same with my car. "That's cool!", I said.

The moment I heard that, I know it was a "go" signal telling me that I can now begin and start with driving my car. I was so happy and excited. I really practiced hard each day and try not to get into any trouble. I have also proven my parents that I still manage to balance my studies and fun.

I could not wish for more. This is the best gift I have ever received. I will really take good care of my car as I take care of myself!
